The 32nd European Kendo Championships (EKC) was held in Beauvais, France May 19-21, 2023. It was well organised by France Kendo (CNKDR) and ran smoothly considering that Italy handed over the EKC at short notice to take on hosting the World Kendo Championships in 2024. It appears that the European kendo community is steadily returning
